About The Role
Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Junior Scrum Master to support a federal customer in a fully remote capacity. This is an opportunity to contribute to a multi-year initiative focused on modernizing large-scale, mission-critical systems that support essential government operations.
In this role, you will support Agile delivery teams by helping coordinate work, facilitate ceremonies, and ensure alignment across stakeholders. You will work alongside experienced Scrum Masters and delivery leaders while developing your skills in Agile execution, team facilitation, and program delivery within a federal environment.
This role is ideal for someone early in their Scrum Master career who is eager to grow, learn, and contribute to meaningful, high-impact work.

You are a strong communicator who is comfortable working with both technical and non-technical team members. You listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and help ensure everyone stays aligned on priorities and expectations.
You take initiative and are not afraid to step in to support the team, whether that means helping remove blockers, coordinating meetings, or keeping work on track. You are detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement, both for yourself and the teams you support.
You are interested in working in a federal, compliance-driven environment and understand the importance of accountability, security, and mission impact.
What you will Do
- Support Agile teams in delivering projects using Scrum or similar methodologies
- Assist in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Help track team progress, sprint commitments, and key delivery metrics
- Work with Product Owners and team members to maintain and refine backlogs
- Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and dependencies to senior team members
- Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of work
- Support documentation and communication of team activities and progress
- Learn and apply Agile best practices to improve team performance over time
- High-level objectives may include supporting initiatives such as:
- Modernizing legacy systems into cloud-based environments (AWS GovCloud)
- Supporting transition efforts to microservices and container-based platforms
- Assisting with implementation of enhanced search and data capabilities
- Contributing to improvements in system performance and scalability
Success in this role is defined by your ability to support team delivery, build foundational Agile skills, and contribute to a collaborative and productive team environment.

What you Bring
We require:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a professional environment (Agile, project coordination, or related)
- Basic understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Exposure to Agile teams or project delivery environments
- Experience supporting federal programs or GovCon environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Entry-level Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or similar)
- Interest in software development, systems engineering, or technical delivery
- Understanding of compliance or security-driven environments
On-Call Expectations
To support critical system needs, this role participates in a rotating on-call schedule for one week out of every four. During your on-call week, you’ll be part of a responsive support team that helps ensure system reliability and continuity.
- Acknowledge on-call contacts (phone, text, or email) within 15 minutes
- Remain within reasonable access to your secure work laptop while on call
- Log in and begin assessing or troubleshooting requests within 60 minutes of notification
The on-call rotation is structured to provide balance while ensuring our federal partners receive timely, dependable support when it matters most.
