Marketing Specialist (Campaigns & Operations)

About Trilogy Innovations

At Trilogy Innovations, we are committed to driving meaningful change for our customers and communities through smart, innovative technology that solves real problems. As a growing systems and software engineering company, we partner across public and private sectors to modernize enterprise systems, strengthen security, and deliver high value solutions. We are scaling with purpose, investing in our people, processes, and platforms as we expand. We work hard, think creatively, and value every perspective as we push boundaries and build systems that matter.

Who you are

You are a marketing professional who runs campaigns end-to-end and uses data to make them better. You are comfortable owning initiatives from kickoff through reporting without waiting for direction.

You know HubSpot hands-on — building campaigns, managing workflows, and tracking performance across the funnel — and you measure, analyze, and refine, not just launch.

You are both analytical and creative: you translate strategy into execution, communicate clearly, and work effectively with an external agency and internal teams across business development, leadership, and people operations.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to own and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support brand visibility and pipeline growth. This role centers on end-to-end campaign ownership, HubSpot execution and optimization, and KPI tracking, reporting, and performance improvement, with a strong line of sight into business development through targeted marketing efforts.

This is an individual contributor role: you will work independently to plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns, while serving as Trilogy's day-to-day point of contact with our external marketing agency and collaborating across business development, leadership, and people operations to align campaigns with company priorities. You will own the work end-to-end and have direct influence on marketing performance and growth outcomes.

What you will do:

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Plan, build, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, web, and digital platforms

  • Own campaign timelines, deliverables, and performance outcomes

  • Partner with leadership to align campaigns with growth priorities and target markets

  • Direct and coordinate with our external marketing agency on creative, production, and channel execution; review deliverables and hold the agency accountable to scope, timelines, and quality

  • Ensure campaigns are executed with consistency, accuracy, and quality

Marketing Operations & HubSpot Ownership:

  • Build and manage campaigns, workflows, and automation within HubSpot

  • Develop audience segmentation strategies and lead nurturing workflows

  • Create and manage landing pages, forms, and email campaigns

  • Maintain data integrity, contact structure, and lifecycle stages

  • Optimize system usage to improve campaign performance and efficiency

KPI Tracking, Analytics & Optimization:

  • Track and analyze key marketing metrics — including campaign performance and conversion rates, lead generation and qualification, and funnel progression and engagement

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear performance insights

  • Identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness

  • Continuously test, refine, and optimize campaigns based on performance data

Content & Communications Support:

  • Support development and execution of marketing content, including email campaigns, digital content, and case studies and campaign assets

  • Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand positioning

  • Collaborate with business development, leadership, and people operations to gather subject-matter inputs, capture stories, and refine messaging

Sales & Business Development Support:

  • Partner with business development teams to support pipeline generation efforts

  • Develop targeted campaigns aligned to strategic accounts and growth initiatives

  • Support lead handoff processes and alignment between marketing and BD

  • Contribute to marketing materials that support capture and proposal efforts

How Success Is Measured

Success in this role will be measured against the following milestones:

First 30 days

  • Complete onboarding and gain working knowledge of HubSpot instance, current campaigns, and BD priorities

  • Audit existing campaign performance, reporting, and data hygiene; identify quick wins

First 60 days

  • Launch or take ownership of at least one active campaign end-to-end

  • Deliver baseline KPI dashboard with defined targets for pipeline, conversion, and engagement

First 90 days and beyond

  • Drive measurable growth in marketing-driven and marketing-influenced pipeline

  • Demonstrate consistent campaign performance improvements and HubSpot optimization

  • Produce accurate, on-cadence KPI reporting that informs leadership decisions

  • Contribute directly to BD pipeline generation and capture efforts

What you bring

We require:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or marketing operations

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/automation platforms

  • Experience building and executing marketing campaigns across digital channels

  • Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, analytics, and performance tracking

  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in B2B, technology, or GovCon environments

  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing and lead nurturing strategies

  • Experience supporting business development or pipeline generation efforts

Exposure to SEO, paid media, or account-based marketing strategies

Work Environment: Remote with occasional travel as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance bonus eligibility
  • 401k with company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
